As you may know, Brittany loves products, which motivated her to pursue a career in retail!! She loves trying new products, learning about product trends and recommending products to friends. Looking back over the last five years, we’ve been fortunate to curate a long list of black-owned and women-owned brands to celebrate and highlight through this platform in the WOC BEAUTY BOX, WOC Beauty Bags from Brunch, in interviews, and on social.
In reflecting on our early years, we asked Brittany for her favorite skincare and beauty products from previous events and campaigns. Most of these are black-owned brand, but Charlotte Tilbury also made the list.

54 Thrones Beauty Butter - This body butter is undefeated! It’s soft and luxurious…I love how decadent it feels. My hands have gotten dryer as I age but this keeps them soft.
Charlotte Tillbury Airbrush Bronzer - We got this bronzer in the 2020 WOC Beauty Box and I haven’t been without it sense! I LOVE IT. It’s super fine and easy to blend and the color is ah-mazing! I love using deep for my contour. Sometimes it’s the only thing I wear. It also last a long time. It’s worth every penny. I have deep and medium deep.
Spraise Body Vow and Body Wash - I can’t say enough about Spraise products. I love the almond line and I’m completely obsessed with Lavender so I buy that too. It feels clean, smells great and the found, Dominique, is really a very sweet person. She was also in the 2020 beauty box.
Beauty Stat Vitamin C Skin Refiner - BeautyStat completely refined my skin texture. I gifted it to a lot of the women in my life - my mom, my sister, her mother-in-law and they all equally loved it! I don’t use it everyday, but when I feel my skin trying to betray me, I pull it out.
Black Girl Sunscreen - This product dropped and changed the game! I use it year round and especially on vacations!
In Good Conscience Mandarin Rose Body Wash - I love the way this smells! It rinses clean and has clean ingredients, which is something I’m paying more attention to nowadays!
