We love educating people on how they can support these amazing founders and entrepreneurs. There is real work to do around inclusivity in the retail space, and Black brands deserve to be a part of this growth.

Springbreak (SPGBK) Watches is a designer watch company, based out of North Carolina, that provides an amazing variety of impactful, unique, & colorful watches. We draw strength and inspiration from our community & culture, our beautiful childhood experiences growing up in Fayetteville, and our strong passion for education (hence the name "Springbreak"). Each watch and watch band in our collection is symbolic & named in honor of a school or community located in our hometown.
Our journey has been a beautiful tapestry of perseverance and progress. It all started in late 2015, with a simple yet profound idea—changing the design of comb teeth to tackle the widespread issue of excessive hair breakage during detangling. Inspired by the shared struggle faced by women, men, and children, we embarked on this transformative path. In 2019, we took that significant step and officially entered the market.
The history of Rucker Roots runs deep. Dating back to the early 1980s, the Rucker sisters' mother used vegetables from the family garden along with oils, mayonnaise, eggs, and avocados to mix up kitchen concoctions to include in their hair regimen. This helped the sisters develop an appreciation for natural hair care products, the value of family, and the importance of their heritage and strong roots.
Bolden is the brainchild and passion of Chinelo and Ndidi, two dynamic women on a mission to embolden women around the world by celebrating their natural beauty. The two originally met as girls at boarding school in Nigeria but lost touch after Ndidi switched schools. Little did they know how their paths would cross and culminate in becoming not only business partners, but sisters-in-law. Ndidi and Chinelo saw an unmet need and went about researching the best formulations to create an effective, beauty regimen.
Driven by a personal mission to bridge the gap in beauty representation, I launched Keisha Elise Cosmetics with my daughter Kaylah. Our brand focuses on providing high-quality, vegan, and cruelty-free cosmetics that celebrate and uplift women and girls of color.
